Fannie and Freddie Delinquencies Continue to Increase

Today Freddie Mac reported that the serious delinquency rate (90+ days behind) for December rose 15 basis points to 3.87 percent.

Meanwhile, Fannie Mae reported that their serious delinquency rate rose 31 basis points in November to 5.29 percent. For context, the serious delinquency rate in November of 2008 was 2.13 percent.
